I worked with between 30 and 50 children on a daily basis in the after-school and summer programs. Promoted to team lead for grades 5-8 in the spring of 2022. I planned field trips, remained under the 10,000 dollar summer budget, maintained relationships with each student, and lead daily activities such as exercises. I was in charge of plans for creek exploration club, all-sports club, black-history club, and general 5-8 grade activities. Promoted to Youth Out of School Supervisor during the summer of 2022. I created the schedules for all 14 staff members and the youth programs while simultaneously maintaining the responsibilities of the 5-8 team lead.

Due to COVID-19 this internship became remote from May 2020 to May 2021. During the remote part, I interacted with 9 Dominican League players every day to discuss cultural aspects of the United States that may be different from their home nations. I also helped conduct a research project with the Royals to determine the success of each MLB teams' respective Dominican Academies over the past ten years. However, starting on May 25, 2021, I began my internship in the Dominican Republic physically at the Royals Academy in San Antonio de Guerra, República Dominicana. In the mornings, I filmed and edited videos of players while interacting with scouts and coaches. In the afternoons, I taught for the Royals English and cultural programs. These programs are aimed at helping the players make a more seamless transition between Latin America and the United States should they be elevated to United States based baseball leagues, but it also provides them with life skills they can use should baseball not be part of their futures.

Worked on marketing campaigns, Emfluence, Pardot, CRM data, and the general day-to-day functions of the marketing and inside sales departments. I ran marketing campaigns for three micro-markets: Nebraska automobile dealerships, Texas penitentiaries, and wastewater treatment plants in Tennessee. I created CRM lists for the markets then created email templates and mailers in Pardot to send to the potential customers. Over the course of the summer, I also edited and added the contacts of over 8,000 potential clients to Tnemec's CRM files. Added and edited over 700 pages of Tnemec’s new website which launched in July of 2019.

Greeted every customer as they entered the restaurant. Gave wait times and sat said customers. Aided servers in any way they needed and handled carry-out orders frequently. By the end of my tenure with Dewey's, the managers entrusted me with training all the new servers and servers assistant regarding carry-out procedures and host duties.

I was the only native English speaker of all the car washers. All other washers were native Spanish speakers.
