- Working with OEM customers and external/internal stakeholders (Global technology stakeholders, product manager, applicant manager, sales, oil bend plants, marketing, supply chain, additive suppliers etc.) to delivers R&D projects on time, on-scope and on-budget, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness, driving alignment with global and local stakeholders in technology & business standpoints. - Develop formulation expertise by working with cross function team and key additive suppliers, building experience on product development formulation for Driveline & Transmissions and tribology / lubrication knowledge.- Support electric vehicle trans programs with unique characters/requirements, including EV trans, DHT trans, P2 module integrated trans etc. - Leading lab/test team to validate the formulation, conduct the necessary tests, field trials and additional engine/driveline tests, fix test issue during validation process. - Leading communication to customers (e.g. OEMs) with the technical knowledge to provide timely technical & business solutions, including quality issue investigation, problem solving & program issue support etc. - Support key relationships with OEMs and represent Shell at key industry meetings (TMC, CTi) on specific transmission topics.- Identify/propose new business opportunities.- Interfaces with marketing and product management to enable efficient implementation of new products, prompt resolution of supply chain issues and support to OEM business development opportunities as and when they arise. Understands customer needs and translating into effective technical solutions.
