Co-founder and board president of this non-profit formed to establish market recognition of and incentives for Integrated Pest Management (IPM) adoption in agriculture and communities. Projects have included the IPM STAR Certification program for schools which has impacted more than 2 million school children. Clients and funders have included Sysco Corporation, General Mills, American Farmland Trust, US EPA, USDA CSREES, USDA NRCS and the Universities of Florida, Wisconsin, Cornell and Rutgers. The Institute maintains a leading web site resource for school IPM and IPM eco-labels, and operates the IPM STAR certification program for schools, professionals, products and service providers.

Agflex develops, markets and administers unique net income guarantees that protect farmer net income when farmers adopt Best Management Practices.

The Entomological Foundation is a national 501 (c)3 not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors made up of representatives from the public and private sectors including academic institutions, government, and business and industry. Our mission is to build a future for entomology by educating young people about science through insects.

Assumed position as condition of sale of Pest Managemetn Supply, startup initiated in 1980. Responsible for sales of IPM-related products, including weather stations, software, publications, insect traps and pest monitoring and control products. Grew sales from $600,000 in 1995 to $1.6 million in 1998.

Distributed a full line of IPM supplies. Developed the business from start-up to $500,000 per year and sale to GEMPLER'S in 1995. GEMPLER'S is now owned by Graingers.
