My responsibilities while working as a Trainee Systems engineer included:- basic maintenance of Active Directory- providing 2nd/3rd line support to members of the IT Helpdesk- creating new virtual servers and desktops in VMware- creating new user accounts- creating new user mailboxes, shared mailboxes and public folders - managing collection membership in SCCM 2007- deploying operating systems to desktops and laptops in SCCM 2007- inventorying software and preparing reports in SCCM 2007- basic group policy modification and management- running the weekly tape backup jobs, troubleshooting any issues- deploying anti virus agents to desktops and laptops - building and deploying physical servers into the datacentre- repairing and troubleshooting server based issues (both hardware and software related)- providing support for Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2

Web Archiving Team

My responsibilities while working as a web archiving assistant included performing quality checks on all archived websites, organising and scheduling the crawling/capturing of websites, liaising with our technical supplier and managing communications with external stakeholders.
