I am a highly motivated, passionate and experienced Geospatial Data Scientist and GIS Team Leader who enjoys tackling problems, and has a wide-ranging knowledge of data, analysis, modelling, software, visualisation and processing techniques both within the UK and internationally.After completing a Masters Degree in Geographical Information Science in 2005, I joined Experian's Data Product Development Team, where I was able to maintain and innovate an array of domestic and international mapping products, tools and datasets. In 2013 I moved down the road to Walgreens Boots Alliance, overseeing the integration of many Retail and Pharmacy data inputs into business flows, BI reports and spatial models to create strategic insights for different business areas and territories in both an analytical and consultative capacity, leading Geospatial Thinking as part of the Data Science & Engineering Team. Having always been an advocate of data democratisation, I am also responsible for championing Data Consumption Engagement across WBA, which includes management of the global Power BI Community, migration and maintenance of Reports and Applications, and supporting the formulation of BI Governance policies.
