Field based Netoworking Technician, Technical sales support. Worked with banks to help them change from older Async and Bi-Sync technology to IP, to allow for more services to be run from the ATMs. Also provided troubleshooting for network problems.

Designed, installed and performed troubleshooting for wide area network in a field-based position covering the United States east of the Mississippi River.Network conversion from Async/Bi-Sync serial communication protocol to TCP/IP providing banks and credit unions with a broader range of self-service and customer service capabilities as well as better access from the bank/credit unions perspective..Designed complete wide area networks, using TCP/IP, T-1, 56K and ISDN circuitry, including disaster recovery services to drive ATMs (Automated Teller Machine) for medium sized credit unions. Programmed all routers and interfaced with telephone company to setup of all circuits.Assisted in creating a disaster recovery plan for financial institutions so that customer transactions could continue during emergency situations.
