Included logic to calculate financial impact using Material Controller team decisions on maximum and reorder point inputs. YTD benefit capture results from forecast tool; $1.07 MM.• Acting project lead for corporate wide process improvement charter; inventory optimization project. This project will aim to reduce inventory balances and provide long-term sustainable solutions to mitigate the factors that have caused inventory balances to rise.• Report Garyville monthly end inventory value and material turnover rates for Tax Accounting analysis. • Provide exceptional customer support to onsite material requisitioners to achieve routine and project planning objectives. • Preform enterprise role SAP IM/WM materials management testing for Marathon’s ERP consolidation project. Totaled project inventory amounted to $1.2MM.• Acted as warehouse foreman for a duration of 3 months. During this time, I managed 7 warehouse union employees and all warehousing processes. • Designed and developed a strategic analysis of physical storage locations and presented compiled data in an interactive “heat map” tool to demonstrate warehouse performance and extrapolated areas of improvement regarding existing warehouse processes. By combining 5S lean management strategies and gathered results from heat map tool, a new process was defined and executed. This enhancement resulted in a decrease average pick time by 50%. • Identify, pursue and evaluate cost-savings opportunities by reviewing potential obsolete and/or surplus materials.
