I lead and oversee the operations of Mead & Hunt’s Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) & Renewable Energy Group, which is at the forefront of engineering, integrating, and constructing the next wave of sustainability solutions and technologies. As our global climate changes, these renewable energy technologies provide pathways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, power our future, and help you meet your sustainability goals. I was the only child from my family to go to college directly from high school. A portion of my tuition was paid for by a low-income federal grant that required me to work part-time, so I knew that I had to work hard and focus to build the knowledge needed to be successful. That hard work led me to a co-op job, two master’s degrees, and the opportunity to become the Vice President of Industrial Wastewater and then the CEO/President of Symbiont. Hundreds of projects later, I had the honor to lead Symbiont in joining forces with Mead & Hunt. This move combines our resources, project experience, and culture as we continuously work to provide new and expanded services, while putting our communities, clients, partners, and employees first.

CurrentAs Group Leader, I lead and oversee the operations of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) & Renewable Energy Group. With decades of experience directing the planning, design, construction, and start-up of innovative renewable energy and wastewater solutions, I deliver projects that benefit the planet. My commitment to greenhouse gas reduction and waste-to-energy project execution results in the production of biogas from the digestion of manure, food scraps, chicken litter, and other wastes, as well as from the treatment of landfill gas. The technological solutions this group designs and constructs purify the biogas into clean, renewable natural gas (RNG) for use in homes, industry, and vehicles. It is my pleasure to lead a talented team of engineers, construction project managers, environmental compliance specialists, technicians, business developers, marketers, and administrative personnel, in our collective mission to reduce greenhouse gases through waste-to-energy systems. As the renewable energy industry advances, we will continue to deliver innovative anaerobic digestion and biogas treatment technologies.

As the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), I led the company in pursuing our commitment of providing innovative solutions that bring value to municipal, industrial, and energy clients–advancing their operations and helping achieve their sustainability goals. Highly experienced in industrial wastewater systems, I have served as project principal, project manager, lead designer, and lead engineer, overseeing the planning, design, operation, construction, and start-up of over 100 water, wastewater, and process engineering solutions through design-build and traditional project delivery.
