Whilst on placement I volunteered full-time supporting the charity’s HR Administrator in all transactional areas of HR. My tasks included monthly and weekly payrolls, recruitment and the administration of new starters. I was responsible for maintaining holiday and sickness records and gained my first experience of representing HR at investigation meetings and disciplinary hearings. I also spent time working within the Group’s Sales & Marketing team. My enjoyment and success in this role led me to rejoin the Group as an employee on completion of my degree.
