Leading Strategic technology transformation for Home Lending Servicing.

My current set of responsibilities are to the Wells Fargo Real Estate Lending business, with an architecture perspective. I am engaged in organizing projects and capabilities based on business needs and technical evolution of the WFHM Servicing group.I have been engaged with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) implementation and strategy for Lending, with primary focus on SOAP/WSDL, J2EE/J3EE, REST, Semantic Integration and EDA architectures, but also have responsibility for .NET and other design patterns within the organization. I have also lead imaging implementation and strategy across Lending, with focus on “eLending” (full paperless electronic loan/line processing & delivery). Within the imaging space I have lead strategy around images/documents and delivery to internal users (workflow/BPM) relevant to the Wachovia/Wells Fargo merger. I have worked,with a business oriented focus, with our Wholesale & Correspondent Mortgage lines of business as well as our Credit Risk/Fraud Risk management (CRM/FRM) areas, with secondary focus on the Home Equity line of business. My focus in all areas is to provide expertise and vision from a Lending perspective, and determine “what’s best for the company and our customers” as well as analyzing solutions for non-functional characteristics, such as: performance, scalability, capacity, security, resilience and availability using my experience in Infrastructure Architecture. With both Application/software architecture and Infrastructure/hardware architecture expertise, Wells Fargo has fostered a true “systems architecture” perspective/experience and set of opportunities for me, and therefore the company.

Worked primarily implementing an object oriented, multi-tier application set to provide order entry, accounting, inventory, reconciliation, and shipping/Distribution functionality for the company. Utilized my experience with Database, OO programing and standards, UML documentation, Crystal Reports, and the Crystal/Seagate (now Business Objects) Info server systems. The solution set was custom from the ground up, and provided a high level of configurability, scalability, interop with existing Garst systems and performance features.

Provided hands-on technical expertise & direction for the AYS Novell environment, Windows desktops, applications and staff. Worked with companies in the Kansas City area on providing grants and equipment for the AYS staff and youth to facilitate education and general administration of the non-profit organization and curriculum. Also helped in all aspects of running the non-profit, from budget meetings/setting, networking with local government (social work, judges, attorneys, guardian ad litem, etc), Human Resources, working directly with our youth & parents in classrooms, as well as picking them up and driving them home when necessary. AYS provided a broad spectrum of both human services and technical IT experience that essentially started my career in IT.

Working under the supervision of Ph.d Psychologists and MD Psychiatrist(s), I planned, implemented and participated in patient (direct and indirect) treatment. This involved, Treatment planning, individual counseling, medication compliance and planning, family counseling, day-to-day treatment plan implementation and reporting. The ultimate goal for each patient was to plan a set of criteria and outcome behaviors and beliefs that facilitated their movement from inpatient to outpatient (and eventually home or independence) care. I helped to manage both inpatient and "residential" care based patients for adolescent's with DSM IV psych diagnosis. The range of diagnosis was from general psych (conduct disorders, personality disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, etc) to specialized treatment for adolescent High Risk Sex offenders. The last 2 years at LRC found me working with the State of Nebraska's IT groups to implement an optical network and windows based desktops in the various facilities on the LRC campus (on top of my activities and responsibilities for my patients).
