Edited every draft of “What I did not learn at IIT,” which was published by Random House India. I worked very closely with the author throughout the entire writing process. I interviewed the author about proposed chapters, helped outline the book, and edited every sentence of every draft of the book until it was published. I also assisted with general office support by editing company documents and assisting in recruiting new software engineers (looking through new resumes, setting up interviews, creating an internal hiring guide).

Washington D.C. Metro Area

Answered questions from Heritage Foundation members through email and phone. I responded to questions ranging from donation problems to policy issues and pointed members to relevant research available for free online. I also wrote blog posts for myheritage.org.

Gig Harbor, Wa

Worked for my father’s Congressional campaign and was responsible for organizing endorsements, writing press releases and drafting newsletters. I made hundreds of yard signs, knocked on doors, walked in parades, and handed out thousands of fliers.

Alexandria, Va

I wrote 30 news articles. For many of my articles I interviewed members of congress. My most successful piece of original reporting was on how much it cost taxpayers to move a single Manzanita bush out of the way of a highway project.

Assisted LI President Morton Blackwell with daily projects including research, errands, filing, etc. Took numerous LI courses including Public Relations, Fundraising, Broadcast Journalism, Campaign Manager School, etc.
