Since opening his own practice in 2009, Thomas DeVoss has provided architectural design services for a variety of civic, cultural, and residential projects, including an off-grid orphanage complex in Haiti, sustainable master plans in Australia, and houses all over Los Angeles. As a member of the Art Director’s Guild (Local 800), he also provides illustration services including set sketches, 3d models, set design, and renders to the commercial entertainment industry.

Thomas DeVoss AIA, LEED comes to Deasy/Penner from a career in architecture and design. As an architect Tom has designed additions and renovations for some of Los Angeles’ most architecturally significant properties, including houses by mid-century masters Smith and Williams, Richard Banta, and H.H. Harris. Tom’s extensive experience with the design-build process and knowledge of zoning and building codes make him an invaluable partner for clients buying or selling a significant property, or one that may require special vision.
