Premium Auditor
Current- Conduct audits of selected commercial lines adjustable policies of workers compensation, general liability, and auto by reviewing the insured’s business operations as well as examining and verifying pertinent classification related data from financial and business records.- Conduct both physical and virtual audits to optimize timeliness and productivity.- Ensure quality of the audit through proper risk classification and exposure basis information.- Connect and develop relationship with insured, agents, underwriters, marketing, and other internal staff to ensure audits are completed seamlessly, provide audit findings, and ensure understanding of the change in premium exposures.- Act as expert resource on audit matters for all external customers (i.e. agents and insureds) and internal customers (underwriting, policy processing, claims, and accounting) and provide customers with information to assist in their understanding of all audit related matters including audit vouchers, procedures, and worksheets.- Discuss issues and problems with insured to ensure understanding of change in premium exposures and maintain good customer relations.- Remain informed of changes and current information relative to premium auditing through discussions and correspondence with industry experts and industry related literature.- Consults with WCIRB and other independent bureaus regarding classification and technical issues.- Alert Special Investigative Units (SIU) of any potential fraud situations.
