I have a broad range of experience in corporate law and management and as an intellectual property attorney, with more than 35 years of handling corporate transactions and due diligence; commercial real estate; products liability and quality control issues; patent and trademark procurement and management; IP litigation; contract negotiation; and client counseling. My technical background in mechanical engineering has assisted in the handling of legal transactions involving large industrial equipment, flow measuring equipment, mobility vehicles, bicycle design and manufacture, industrial and consumer packaging, molded plastic components, medical devices, printing equipment and wastewater treatment. I prepare and prosecute patent applications; perform patent infringement and validity studies, clear trademarks and file for registration, and negotiate and prepare license and other agreements. My legal experience also includes corporate and financial transactions, human resource management, and commercial lease negotiation.
