Tom is the Executive Director of NDI. He leads NDI’s efforts in building a better financial future for people with disabilities and their families. Tom designs and leads organizational efforts that foster employment and financial inclusion within the disability community. Through collaborative partnerships with corporate, government and nonprofit partners, NDI improves the development of and access to financial inclusion policies, programs, materials, tools and practices, which will reach over 2,000,000 people in 2021 alone.

Tom led WID’s business consulting, workforce and financial inclusion, and information technology access practice. After more than 30 years of experience in the disability community, Tom authored EQUITY, the first asset building book for people with disabilities. He has been recognized by numerous organizations, including the Center for Economic Development (CFED), National Disability Institute (NDI), and the Center for Financial Independence and Innovation (CFII) for his workforce and financial inclusion work.

Tom was a member of the American Red Cross National Diversity Advisory Council for over ten years and worked closely with national and local disaster and first responders to ensure disability inclusion in America’s emergency preparation, response, and recovery efforts.
