Involved with testing all of the 28 products the business unit develops. The business unit focus is on processing high volume of paper medical insurance claims, obtaining the data off the paper and delivering the data to the customer in a format they define, typically ANSI 837 format. Responsibilities include:- Coordinating all of the testing activities within the Software Development Lifecycle with local and remote teams.- Reviewing project documentation, such as Software Requirements and Functional Design, for completeness, unambiguities, testable requirements.- Creating Test Plans that outline the test effort, estimations, project risks, and test environment.- Documenting and executing the test cases that exercise the functionality of the software to ensure compliance with design.- Maintain, coordinate and configure the testing hardware and software environment.- Collect the status of the team members and report to upper management on the risks and provide strategies to manage the risk.- Mentor and train other members in the test team. Test team varied from 4 to 12 members.- Develop close working relationship with developers and business analysts to expedite any issues that arise during testing.- Provided strategies for performance, load, regression testing.- Streamlined the estimation process for project scheduling which significantly increased the accuracy of the workload for projects.- Assisted in the design of in-house automated test tools for increased tester productivity.

- Help Desk Support. Ensured effective technical support for customers issues with our products.- Identify, analyze and resolve technical issues effecting the operation or delivery of all parts of the system.- Assumed ownership of problems from any administrator, and follow path of escalated contacts to insure the problems were resolved in timely and effective ways to the satisfaction of the customer.- Installation of new products on customer systems.- Assisted with the creation of a Knowledge Base Documents to assist in resolving repetitive issues.
