Ensured that appropriate precautions to protect confidential patient information were taken. Researched the impact of exercise on individuals diagnosed with both Parkinson's disease and depression. Formed relationships with study participants and empowered them to take charge and increase of their own levels of physical activity. Conducted literature reviews, collected and analyzed data using STATA. Findings were presented at multiple province wide research conferences.

Researched the relationship between Parkinson's disease and depression within Canada using the findings from the Survey of Living with Neurologic Conditions in Canada. The PHQ (Patient Health Questionnaire)-9 was used to quantify and assess depression levels. Findings were presented at multiple research conferences as well as published in JURA.
