Working in the Procurement department of North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Trust analysing their historic supply chain data using SQL Server. Migrated Excel based data into a database, created Excel based tools for procurement personnel to perform self service data analyses, and my work has reduced the analysis phase of procurement projects from weeks to minutes. Integration with Genisys document management system to allow analysis of scans of original invoices.Perform data extracts to Excel for management use in the Finance department and supporting the Procurement department in its contracting functions, and to support day to day operational functions in the Supplies department. Created data import solutions using SSIS, and visualization solutions using Qlikview.Working on systems to manage the Procurement workplan better driven by data from the Procurement database.

I was hired by Collective ID to create a new site for their client, a new recruitment company with a novel business model. I was involved in this project from initial meetings with the client right through to project delivery in December 2008. The site was ambitious in scale and implements job and candidate searches, candidate CV creation, as well as client payment facilities.Maintenance is currently ongoing.

Working for Wyeth Europa Limited as part of their eBusiness team with day to day responsibility for their Intranet content management systems: Interwoven TeamSite, and an in-house developed Microsoft .Net based content management system. Until late 2007 I also had responsibility for their Internet content management system, Vignette 7.2. for the EMEA region. I was also responsible for implementation of themes and styles on Wyeth’s Vignette Application Portal installation.I was involved in the product selection for Wyeth’s Internet content management and portal solution, which involved evaluating a number of products as potential candidates. I have also been instrumental in streamlining Wyeth’s intranet site development turnaround, automating a number of processes that had taken days down to a matter of hours.Web content management systems: Interwoven, Vignette.Web development: Intranet sites for many Wyeth EMEA region affiliates. Initially I was on the software test team, where I set up Rational ClearQuest on a SQL Server 2000 database to allow effective bug tracking, with management reporting using Crystal Reports 6.Software Testing, Software Quality Assurance, Software development systems, Web content management systems, web development.

State Street hired me as a contract tester for their Euro and Y2K test projects. I wrote and hand executed test scripts against a number of State Street applications for both Euro and Y2K testing. I automated testing on the mainframe by writing an Excel automation interface, and the entire test team used this for testing against the mainframe. In the course of testing it became apparent that there was very little documentation for some of the products being tested, and in conjunction with the developers, I wrote end user documentation for the applications being tested.
