I presently maintain a private practice where I work as a therapist with individuals, families, couples and children. Most of my work is with those healing from trauma. I have experience in helping those who are struggling with issues around adoption. I also work with depression, anxiety problems, Spiritual issues, and more.

I have been a part of a commission that was founded by Warren Farrell and includes 34 of the nations top writers, researchers, academics, and clinicians who are interested in the issues of boys and men.

Publish books that bring understanding to the many ways that we heal from loss.

Was appointed to this commission to help in evaluating services for men and the state of general state of health for Maryland men. Wrote three reports for the commission that were submitted to Governor O'Malley and other Maryland officials.

Worked as a therapist at this center which focused on helping the dying and the bereaved. Worked under the direction of Father William Wendt.
