I am an engineer turned librarian, with strong experience managing projects and leading teams of dedicated professionals to success through collaboration, ingenuity and excellence. I now work as an independent consultant, helping libraries, publishers and cultural actors manage technology projects.After a few years in the lab, I have shifted my career to the world of academic libraries and knowledge management, with a special interest in electronic resources and scholarly publishing. I gained management experience as head of a library division, acting Head Librarian and, more recently, as Director of Services for an academic library consortium. As project manager, I contributed to a major reorganization and merger, organized a digital resources consortium and coordinated the migration of library systems.Since 2014, I regularly teach introduction to computer programming to researchers and librarians, as a volunteer instructor with Software Carpentry.In my free time, I'm also an architecture photographer, working on a project to document library architecture around the world.
