I ran, maintained and serviced the prototype Fre-energy, Anaerobic Digester. Maintaining the plants compliance with Regulatory bodies such as Natural Resources Wales (NRW) and Animal By-product Regulations.In our second year of PAS110 certification, I have maintained the Environmental and Quality Management System, updating SOP's, all relevant documents to retain the standards needed, designing new data recording systems and assisting with the development of operation manuals for current and potential customers. During my time at Lodge Farm Bio-gas Ltd I have improved the running of the plant by increasing the Permitted allowance input of feed waste and plant infrastructure to improve process flow and automation of an originally labour intensive feeding system. With the increase in food waste and addition of food waste, I managed the deployment permit for a period while applying for and implementing the PAS110 certification, which allows more freedom for the farmer to spread the digestate produced at Lodge Farm.Having my WAMITAB for Anaerobic Digestion and land spreading I also covered one of Fre-energy's other sites as the Technically Competent Operator.With Lodge Farm Biogas being a leading technology in AD, I also assist with Bangor, Aberystwyth and Cardiff University R&D projects, to assess the quality of digestate (end product), and its potential uses.The company, Fre-energy, provide advice at every stage of Anaerobic Digester development, to help you make the right decision for you and your business, with the reassurance of first class support from leading experts within the industry:- Full design, manufacture and construction of anaerobic digestion plants- Testing feedstocks for gas yield- Operation & Maintenance contracts for Fre-energy anaerobic digesters- Operation & Maintenance contracts for Fre-energy CHP units- Feasibility studies- Environmental permitting
