Since graduating UCLA in 1996, I have worked to develop software (mainly in C++) focused on 3D engineering and technical applications, with 10 years of C# experience employing .NET and modern web technologies to design and develop cloud-based engineering solutions.In my role as Principal Software Engineer, I've had several years of experience working in project management, managing teams to deliver new features and tools. I enjoy training and helping others to advance in their development skills. I am keenly interested in the latest technologies and tools, and have been chosen to spearhead many research and development initiatives to incorporate new technologies into our development (moving to git, mixing .NET and C++ development with C++/CLI, modern web development with Angular and NgRx, containerizing our web services using Docker).Specialties: Knowledge Domains: Computational Geometry (2D and 3D entities), CAD/CAM, motion capture.Technologies: C++, C#, Boost libraries, STL, Angular, NgRx, OpenCASCADE kernel, Docker.Applications: Visual Studio, git, YouTrackI am a strong believer in giving back and serve as the STEM Chair for the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. I have organized STEM activities for youth events and have served as the Course Director for a staff of 20 for a weekend outdoor course to train other adult volunteers.
