SummaryDemand management to meet customer service requirements with the coordination of manufactured products. Completing orders and ensuring availability of finished goods for despatch to achieve excellent customer service. Forecasting capacity demands on a daily, weekly, & monthly basis.Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Release & allocate orders for to the warehouse for picking.• Accurately allocate all picks to the warehouse by 4pm to the correct priority & hand-held terminal.• Manage the edit pick worksheet.• Ensure customer deliveries are picked and despatched on time.• Monitor overdue orders & backorders.• Liaise with colleagues in supply chain to ensure correct stock levels are maintained.• Liaise with transport admin to ensure deliveries are made in a timely fashion and via the correct transport means.• Micro-manage the order book.• Monitor and forecast warehouse pick hours, staff requirements, storage capacity and loading bay capacity.• Monitor and report on the progress of month end.• Maintain close communication with both Customer Relations and Warehouse departments.• Monitor critical orders, and if required liaise with different departments to make sure the order is raised to the appropriate level of priority.• Ensure sample orders are despatched in a timely manner and in full, liaising with both Customer Relations and Warehouse departments to ensure delivery.• Looking for continuous improvements to improve throughput.

Responsible for researching market rates for different customers, by using various software tools to generate Rate Cards. As well as providing insights regarding the market, trends and potential changes in the future.

Managing the Access database & all Excel macro enabled analysis files.Monitoring and rectifying issues within the SAP environment.Analysing & optimising the flow of work and the picking operation.Proactively identifying changes that will need to be made to the picking operation based on forecasted number of SKU’s and lines per day.Designing and implementing changes identified within a defined timeframe.Interacting with Senior Management Team, Supervisors of other departments and members of staff to correlate any changes made.Producing reports on the picking operation.Producing AUTOCAD drawings as required.Setting up and locating of new products.Maintaining and updating picking configurations.

Booking material onto the system accurately.Inspection of material for conformity to required specification.Picking production kits, & material for further processing. Clearing shortages on the production lines.Locating material in stores.Stock checking to ensure a high level of stock accuracy.Extensive use of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and SAP.Experience of Kaizen, 5S, KANBAN and F.I.F.O.
