  In the Calco MasterClass I started with other high potentials with Calco’s education course, which prepared me for a job in IT. The course consist of training courses, assignments and projects, which provide a solid foundation for a successful career in IT. Even before the normal education course duration of two months, a great job was found for me, and so I started as a FDMEE (a Oracle Extract Transform and Load tool) Developer at Nationale Nederlanden. - Subjects that are part of the Calco education course: system development, project management, information analysis and design, programming, databases and SQL, quality and testing, implementation and maintenance, focussed communication, presenting and personal soft skills. After my time with Nationale Nederlanden I have come back to Calco to look for a new job opportunity with more focus on learning software development skills. In the mean time I assist the Calco educational team, by providing the Java basic courses, scrum workshops, general introduction of new classes, and am currently working on setting-up a Java course with one of Calco’s clients. Next to this I am deepening my Java knowledge and am working on getting Java OCA certified.
