Responsible for the safe access and assessment of foreign nuclear infrastructure and nuclear processing facilities; to include radiological, explosive, chemical, and industrial hazards. Manage four personnel and ensure training is adequate to perform these tasks, utilizing a variety of protective equipment. Acts as Unit Movement Officer to ship containers to training venues within the United States. Operates a government vehicle as required. Additionally perform investigations required by higher headquarters. This includes taking sworn statements, preparing reports and recommending penalties commensurate with the nature of violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

Performed duty as the Counter-IED Advisor to the Afghan Operations Coordination Center-Regional (South). Provided guidance to senior Afghan Officers to implement CIED techniques and analysis into daily operations. Served as deputy for the 11 man OCC-R(S) advisory team ensuring 90+ daily, weekly, and monthly reports and products were prepared and met the guidance of the Security Force Assistance leadership and the Advisory Team Leader. Awarded Bronze Star Medal. Provide assessment on ability of foreign military officers to achieve standards as set forth in the Afghan National Standard Operating Procedure. Completed more than 90 combat patrols to the work location of Afghan partners, while utilizing all required protective equipment to include body armor, helmet, rifle, and pistol. Adjusted to changing schedules and external threats on a daily basis. Assign and monitor work to assigned personnel based on timelines and competing requirements.

Responsible for the safety, welfare, and discipline of 44 soldiers in 6 different military occupations. Company is responsible for the identification, disposal, and render safe procedure of conventional, biological, chemical, nuclear, and improvised explosive devices for Fort Stewart, Hunter Army Air Field, the State of Georgia, and the counties of southern South Carolina and northern Florida. Build and maintain relationships with Federal, State, and local law enforcement personnel to improve response to military ordnance in the assigned area of responsibility. Responsible for the maintenance and accountability of over $4,000,000 of Army property. Manage several programs within the company, including enrolling soldiers Defense Travel System, managing two government purchase card holders, managing the individual travel card program (including training, issuing cards, and managing balances and credit levels), monthly reports (pay, promotion, inventories, incident responses, medical readiness and deployability), manage the company training program to ensure it is in compliance with battalion and brigade level training objectives, as well as determining access to the arms room and ammunition storage point. Provide EOD support at high visibility activities, to detect and reduce identified security threats/vulnerabilities. Screen cargo and search terminals, luggage, facilities, vehicles and other venues for the presence of explosives. Identify, collect, and preserve evidence when called to support Law Enforcement to mitigate explosive hazards. Work with Explosive Detection Canines (EDC) to perform physical security inspections of designated facilities to protect personnel and property from explosive threats.

Lead 11 man platoon responsible for identification, render safe, and destruction of conventional and improvised explosive devices and chemical munitions. Manage property worth more than $1 million, as well as operational and administrative duties. Provide subject matter expertise to a supported element to implement counter IED concepts, track and manage forensics collected from the battlefield to assist in developing targeting packets.
