Objective was to assess/approve products to internal and global regulatory requirements. - Managed on-site Product Integrity Test Laboratory- First point contact for product safety issues in the field- Managed the corporate FCC (Federal Communications Commission) single point contact.- Global Product Approvals coordination (Product Safety, EMC, Telecom and others)- Developed and implemented Global Approvals Strategy for Norstar Product Line- Represented Nortel at various external standards development committees for Product Safety, EMC and Telecommunications.

- Developed and implemented a quality program which conformed to; and was audited to CSA Z299.3 for manufacture of modules for Nuclear Power Industry.
