This position requires several duties and responsibilities. A major aspect of this position is the delegation of tasks. Delegation ensures that each member of the campaign is doing their job in a timely manner and that all messages are being sent out on time. This position also includes planning, developing, and searching for participants for focus groups. The Wally Social Norms Campaign holds focus groups to determine if the messages that are being created and disseminated across Coastal Carolina University’s campus are effective, pleasing to the eye, and memorable. In addition to focus groups, the campaign sends out surveys. These surveys also assist in the re-vamping and further development of the campaign. Strong presentation and oral communication skills are necessary for this position. I frequently do classroom presentations and Greek life presentations per request from sorority and fraternity groups on campus. The purpose of presentations is to further develop the brand, educate students on safe drinking and partying behaviors, and to correct misconceptions students are having about other students on Coastal Carolina University’s campus. This position also requires meeting with other on-campus organizations, committees, and attending programs. Meeting with other on-campus groups and attending programs, assists in building strong relationships that lead to partnerships for events and allows the campaign to stay up-to-date with all campus activities. Lastly, the position of Campaign Coordinator requires planning events on campus. This includes reserving spaces, gathering materials and distributing, delegating tasks while the event is taking place, scheduling volunteers and making sure said volunteers show up for their scheduled times, and making sure events run smoothly.

Compiled data and wrote up drafts for an academic journal literature review for professors working for a client. I used Adobe Illustrator to create flyers for the client's presentation held on Coastal's campus and did some event planning to insure the client's arrival went smoothly and the presentation was successful.

Communicate and promote the overall message of American Eagle Outfitters. I was responsible of keeping the clothing neat and folded, assist with customer concerns and questions, keep the fitting rooms clean and dust-free, and make sure my stations were covered and under control.
