I have been actively performing diagnostic ultrasounds since November, 2006. I am ARDMS registered in Abdomen and Ob/Gyn. I will be taking my Breast boards to add that specialty to my credentials in the very near future. I have been working in a hospital setting with outpatients, inpatients, ER patients and interventional procedures. During this time, I have helped to trained new hires, mentor students and assisted with implementing departmental changes. I helped to change paracentesis procedure protocol by researching and implementing a cost saving measure. I am a super-user for our PACS system and help with the ultrasound departments scheduling system. I also work with Horry-Georgetown Technical College as the Clinical Coordinator. In this position, I teach the students in a lab setting and supervise their clinical rotations. I coordinate their site assignments and communicate with Clinical Instructors regarding student progress. I work with students individually to help work on their needs. I maintain grades and attendance.
