I am transitioning to a new position in January 2024 and am excited for the opportunity to work for Catholic Charities in Fort Myers as a Youth Program Manager. I will be responsible for running the AFCAAM Center, which provides youth mentoring programs along with after-school programming. I have a passion for working children and it is my privilege to promote this mission and benefit the community and families of Lee County. I have previously served as the CEO and Director of Education of Child’s Path since 2019. I have worked in non-profit management for approximately 18 years. Before joining the Child’s Path team, I was a Director of Bright Beginnings Early School and served as Program Director and Acting Executive Director of Gladiolus Learning and Development Center. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Associates Degree in Accounting. Youth mentoring programs help to break the cycle of poverty by encouraging children to become lifelong learners by providing a safe, non-judgemental place that allows children to choose a brighter and ambitious path and learn a new way to learn to succeed.
