I have recently began my new role as Lidl Marketing Graduate, gaining first hand experience, opportunity and responsibility as part of the Marketing team for one of Ireland and Northern Ireland’s largest discount retailer.I have recently graduated from Dublin City University with a BSc Marketing, Innovation and Technology with a focus on Digital Marketing, High-Tech Entrepreneurship, Creativity and Discovery and Marketing Management and Planning. Throughout my time in DCU, I have been involved in student life including Secretary for the Marketing, Innovation Society and Student Ambassador for DCU.Enactus DCU largely shaped my college experience, Enactus is a student leadership and development programme empowering students to use entrepreneurial action to create a better and more sustainable world. Beginning as event's officer in 2018 to becoming chairperson the following academic year leading a team of 150 student volunteers to placing first at the Enactus Ireland National Competition and Top 16 Worldwide at the Enactus World Cup securing our place in the top 1% of teams globally with our social enterprises tackling social issues of the climate crisis and empowering disadvantaged youth and those with learning difficulties. Since then, I have stayed heavily involved in the Enactus DCU network, currently as an alumni.As part of my college placement, I completed a 23 month Internship with Audi Ireland, Volkswagen Group as their Marketing Intern. My key responsibilities included Digital, Social Media, CRM Marketing and Dealer Marketing, also being involved in areas of Event Marketing, National Communications, Public Relations and Product Marketing.
