Following a Ph.D. in International and European Law on Aviation and Climate Change, and two post-doctoral research projects, I am currently Assistant Professor at the University of Western Brittany (UBO). I obtained, on 16 November 2017, my doctoral's degree, "with distinction" (Cum Laude), from the University of Bordeaux and Leiden University (co-tutelle agreement). My Ph.D. focused on the connection between environmental law and international air law, and especially on sustainable solutions for reducing aircraft greenhouse emissions.I followed a post-doctoral research project on current regional challenges linked to Refugee and Migration Governance. I coordinated this multidisciplinary research project in collaboration with the University of Parma, and I realised a 6-month sailing expedition in different regions of the Mediterranean Sea.I joined from April 2019 to August 2020 Sciences Po Bordeaux, as researcher at the Chair "Defence & Aerospace", to work on the issue of Space Strategy of Defence.

Taking "Human Migration across the Mediterranean Sea" as my principal case study, I realised, under the framework of The HumaniSea Challenge association, a 6-month sailing expedition in different regions of the Mediterranean Sea (France, Italy, Greece, Turkey and Cyprus). During this expedition, I used the sailing boat as a nomad laboratory to invite onboard researchers and to explore with them innovative field research approaches. The expeditions' rationale also included, but was not limited to: engaging in discussions and exchanging of points of view between researchers, stakeholders and the public; creating an interactive and online platform to host legal analyses written by experts in different fields of European and Public International Law, combined with research papers and documents of different aspects of human sciences, as a way to put legal analysis in a broader and more meaningful context; realising a podcast season based on my investigation and interviews.
