The ETAAC was established in 1998 to provide an organized public forum for discussion of electronic tax administration issues, including preventing identity theft and refund fraud. The committee supports the overriding goal that paperless filing should be the preferred and most convenient method of filing returns. ETAAC members will work closely with the Security Summit, a joint effort of the IRS, state tax administrators and tax software industry to fight electronic fraud.

Envisioned a strategy to create Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Teams as well as provide the management dashboards and data extracts used by the user community from executive management to end users. These teams manage the data inputs and outputs from departments to ensure security of the data.Assembled a cross functional team to implement a fraud detection system into the State Income Tax processing that prevented over $80 million in fraud, and completed the project $2 million under budget. Assembled another skilled IT and cross-functional business team to add a second fraud management service that has earned Indiana the status of managing the most robust fraud prevention program in the country; again, this solution was delivered $2 million under budget.Saved several million more in various upgrades and new systems, while training and mentoring the technical staff for future challenges, to make government work more effectively.

Project lead for a team that re-engineered a legacy application utilizing Oracle-based technologies. This new system allowed Sunrise to design and manage the inventories of its customers and keep best selling products on its customer’s shelves through the use of reorder tracking. Spent 10 to 20 percent of time supporting existing legacy systems: Order Entry, Customer Service, Sales, Shipping, and Accounting.Environments included: Ultimate Pick, a precursor to today's NoSQL databases, and Oracle.

TSH is an independent software vendor specializing in turn key software for the office products and office furniture industry. Managed multiple simultaneous custom software installations at client sites. Responsibilities within each software installation included: managing a resource pool of three to five developers, preparing budgets, invoicing schedules, training of the clients on the software package at their site, transition assistance at the time of cutover, and personal support for three months before turning the account over to the support group.Environment was PI/open, a derivative of Pick, and a precursor to today's NoSQL databases.
