With over 30 years as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, and Product Manager, I bring a broad range of skills and experience that I apply across disciplines, equally at home writing device drivers or talking to CEOs and end customers.My entire background, education, training, daily study, and interests are in software, software engineering, and the path new technology is tracing across lives. When the Internet was becoming the way we redefine business, I helped work on projects to move companies in that direction and now AI, LLMs, and machine learning in general are reshaping and I'm excited about moving in that direction.I have had the opportunity to work in a wide variety of environments including large and small private companies, humanitarian companies, publicly held corporations, government, military, and in vertical markets of all sorts. In that capacity I have had the privilege of working in a vast array of technical areas from small embedded systems to large enterprise projects.I also have experience in sales, as a spokesman, pitch-man, and technical salesman. I am very comfortable in front of people, working with a team, or working alone.I have been working remotely for decades, since before it was in fashion, and I intend to continue doing that, though I'm open to some light travel.
