An Ironman triathlete, ultra-marathoner, Medical First Responder, OCD Researcher, Rock Climber and lover of all things outdoors. Thomas is a Consultant at ADAPTOVATE, working with some of Canada’s largest companies to dream and deliver agile climate businesses that execute on ESG strategy and exceed emissions and biodiversity goals.Thomas has client-experience across all aspects of the climate-action journey. He has helped CEOs of $1B+ companies design climate operating models and worked with climate-experts on the ground to re-design how they execute the day-to-day activities driving the Canadian economy towards net-zero emissions by 2050. A co-author of Deloitte’s ESG Operating Model Point of View and a former leader of Deloitte’s National Organizational Design Climate Practice, Thomas has been at the forefront of emerging trends in the ESG space.Beyond sustainability, Thomas has worked with Fortune 500 Businesses in the Energy and Mining Industry, Canadian Government and Consumer space to assess their operating model pain points, dream cutting-edge solutions and deliver them alongside executive leaders.Thomas is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Global Environment and Sustainability from the University of London, and holds an International Business Degree from the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University. In 2019 and 2020, he studied International Policy, and Finance at Sciences Po in Reims, France. Thomas also has a certificate in Financial Markets from Yale University.Thomas is an avid endurance athlete - a former nationally ranked cross-country runner/triathlete and University rower/rugby player. Thomas is a high-level Ironman Triathlete, currently training for another Ironman 70.3 in July, 2024. He lives by the motto “Action and Attitude."
