Ponies TRUST (True Respect Unifies Students Together) Club Unified Schools is a social group that works with Special Olympics Minnesota to bring students together through ongoing social, recreational sports, wellness and leadership activities powered by an engaged student community that breaks down the barriers that separate students with and without disabilities. In my role as Co-President, I work with my special needs partner to lead weekly meetings with the leadership team to plan and organize all club efforts throughout the school year. As a Teacher's Assistant, I work with staff and teachers of TRUST Club and Unified Gym, assisting with day-to-day tasks and ensure the class runs smoothly. Our 2022 unified basketball team took 1st place in the 2022 MN State Special Olympics Basketball Tournament. I was proud to be their head coach and engage the community for support and fan participation.

The Stillwater Area High School Ponies Football program focuses on character development, academic achievement, knowledge and understanding of football, strength and conditioning, fundamentals, and being a member of the team. ● Versatile player, athlete of the week and leading scorer on defense to help the team earn a winning regular season record (7-1) and establish a No. 1 seed in Minnesota Class 6A post-season tournament and winning the section title. ● Organized and led various components of community and school volunteering and engagement events; collectively raising $26k+ for Randy Shaver’s Tackle Cancer Fund, 5,300 lbs. of food and $1,000 donated to Valley Outreach, hosted an Adaptive Football event, visited nursing home residents and many other social and community events.
