Currently serving in the role of EVP/COO, Thomas is primarily responsible for identifying and protecting Industrial Bank from all aspects of risk in its daily activities. He directs major departments of the bank to assure that the bank achieves its annual profit targets and provides high quality service to its depositors and borrowers. Associated responsibilities include: Achievement of Industrial Bank's Profit Initiatives: o Participates in the development of the Bank's annual financial targets and operating budgeto Assures that the marketing program creates demand for the Bank's products & serviceso Assures that the Loan Department meets its targets for consumer, commercial and real estate loansEVP/Risk Managemento Assures that the Credit Department monitors loan quality and the structure of the portfolioo Assures the recruitment & selection of highly qualified staff for Bank positionso Monitors asset to liability ratio & takes needed steps to achieve the Bank's goalsDelivery of High Quality Customer Service: o Assures that customers are treated with respect & helpfulnesso Assures that Bank products & services meet customer requirementsBank Protection from Financial Loss & Reputation Damageo Assures that managers & staff receive proper fraud prevention trainingo Review & monitors the Bank's physical security plan and assures that disaster recovery plans are reviewed and testedo Assures that the Bank is in compliance with federal & local labor laws & regulationsAssistance to the President & the Boardo Assists in the development & implementation of Bank's strategic plano Provides advice & assistance to the President and other senior officerso Provides information & recommendations to members of the Board of Directors
