• Serve on legislative body to enact City ordinances, appropriate funds to conduct City business, and provide policy, direction, and leadership for City staff. • Statutory duties include the power to tax, borrow money, supply utilities, set employee compensation, acquire, improve, or vacate public property, and render cultural, social, or recreational services; with the goal of community growth and improvement. • Collaborate and implement best practices on administrative policy and budget allocations. • Connect with community members involving public and private issues to create community solutions. • Use knowledge of regulatory laws of City government to ensure fair and equitable operations.

• Complete and file Federal, and State income tax for personal and business entities to maximize savings and profits. • Review financial statements with clients and provide understanding of strategies that promote business growth.• Alleviate fear and concerns regarding IRS correspondence and audits – Constantly advocating for Taxpayer’s rights. • Listen to understand client’s needs and concerns.• Effectively listen to specific client concerns and develop/create individualized plans that meet tax obligations accurately while optimizing savings. • Sensitively and compassionately work with beneficiaries and survivor’s estate tax• Creating solutions to complicated tax problems during deadline driven pressures. • Promote long lasting positive business relationships.

• Complete Federal, and State income tax returns including all related analysis and support. • Provide full support for audits of federal, state, and local filings. • Liaison with planning teams on tax issues and their impact on financial planning. • Assisting Tax Management with planning and cash flow implementation as needed; estimating, budgeting, and monitoring electronic cash payments.• Provide active support and leadership in maintaining high expectations of customer satisfaction. • Excellent letter writing skills; often asked to draft letters for management team which explained complex tax strategies and create presentations for upper management.
