I am currently honing my environmental health and safety (EHS) services skills with Safety Partners inc. As a Consulting Safety Officer (CSO) I create, implement, and maintain EHS programs for life science and bio-tech clients. Most time is spent with clients at their locations developing and implementing customized programs in hazard communication, biosafety, chemical safety, emergency preparedness, radiation safety, and facilities safety.I posses years of research experience in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have done research at both The University of Delaware (UD) and Thomas Jefferson University (TJU). At TJU I Studied SK1 saccharomyces cerevisiae meiosis and how the smk1 MAP kinase pathway influences yeast sporulation, my personal project was directed towards smk1's interaction with ribosomal subunits. I also Managed daily operation of scientific instrumentation and needs of research associates. I have two second author publications alongside the Winter Lab and collected a variety of important research oriented skills during my time at TJU.At DU I Studied the interaction between ClpS and other bacterial enzymes and characterized them through the use of protein crystallography, biochemical assays, and 3D molecular modeling software. I presented my work at various conferences throughout my years with DU. In the Army I work as a Force Health Protection officer. I work alongside various medical professionals to ensure that all army medical components under our network are properly supplied and prepared to act when necessary.- Recipient of the Army Achievement award for meritorious achievements in motivation and work ethic at the 2021 Warrior Exercise extended combat training.
