Led the planning of Expenses, Budgeting, Volume/Capacity Analysis, and Headcount Planning for Correspondent Home Lending Business.Investigated waste, inefficiency, and improper expenses through a new research process I devised—saving the department $18M in 2023.Built an Activity Based Costing system tracking operational work time at the individual level. With this data, I created customized Microsoft PowerBI dashboards and presented them to pricing and operations leadership. Took ownership of preparing components of the 10-Q and 10-K, including Risk Factors, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, MD&A, and Footnotes.Created an Excel Macro to automate the update of foreign exchange rates in LeaseQuery Software, saving 100 labor hours per year.Reviewed and provided feedback on the analyst models from banks covering Vertiv to the VP of Investor Relations. Including a summary of consensus across key performance metrics, and detailed notes to correct errors in analyst models.Assumed leadership of the finance organization's waste reduction program. Wrote an official corporate policy to simplify the process of submitting and approving capital expenditure projects. Including building an Excel-based calculator to assess the benefits (NPV, IRR, etc.) of capex projects yielding revenue or cost savings, while accounting for cannibalization. Collaborated with IT to launch a global online interface to handle submission of these projects and automate the approval process. End result was the reduction in capital expenditure project approval timing from 4-6 weeks to days.Created financial procedures and reporting for a new R&D department. Including building a bottoms-up 2021 budget from scratch--estimating headcount costs and leading meetings with department heads to create itemized spending projections. Analyzed financial data of a small business and designed a digital marketing campaign for a physician's medical practice. Led meetings with software developers to create a new company website. Implemented a Google AdWords Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) strategy that increased monthly new patient appointments by 42%, and increased total revenue 11% over the first half of 2018.Interviewed representatives from three SEO firms, selecting the partner providing best value and fit for our business, and reporting the justifications to management. The resulting SEO campaign delivered a 75% increase in organic website traffic during Q2 2018.Built monthly metrics to judge performance of PPC and SEO campaigns, by implementing call tracking, calculating average contribution margin per new customer, and analyzing the number of new customers required to break even for each campaign.
