Responsible for maintenance and reliability operations of Rockwell 4Ghz SSB microwave radios. Network manager for LAN/WAN incorporating a wide variety of systems and technology; supervised Help Desk operations.• Designed and installed six-site WAN/LAN using routers and high-speed bridges to produce a system featuring a fault-tolerant network with triangulated, redundant T-1 circuits. • Integrated Banyan VINES servers and VAX based Intergraph network CAD system. This included seamless VAX and UNIX data access. System included TCP/IP services and NFS shared data storage resources.• Led large, Banyan VINES LAN upgrade project. Increased LAN size from 38 to over 425 nodes. This included the introduction of many new applications. Responsible for overall coordination of activities related to this project Designed and delivered end-user training classes.• Designed and supervised the installation of combined Ethernet 10BaseT, 10Base5, and 10Base2 cable plant.
