Reporting to Sr. Director of Group Accounting & Finance, a Senior Member of the company’s Finance Management Team with the responsibility of leading all company’s accounting functions.Leading a team of 30+ FTEs in the Shared Service Center of Accounting Dpt:• Oversee all accounting functions, in cooperation with relevant departments.• Ensure the exchange of knowledge within the department.• Lead the local accounting team in delivering high-standard services to the Group (ie. Monthly closing, year-end closing, audit based controls).• Identify, process and implement intra/inter-departmental automations also with third party services to enhance, ensuring that higher volume of work can be accomplished within timeframe set and with reasonable resources whilst further securing the highest standards of controls.• Responsible for the Balance Sheet of the Group as well as ensure that costs and revenues are reported appropriately. Initiate and see to resolution cost optimization initiatives.• Participate in the review to ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including local statutory accounting in various locations and tax issues.• Designing and updating the Chart of Accounts in the line with Group accounting standards.• Formal and substantive accuracy of the data at the general ledger account.
