Hello! My name is Thomas PattersonI am a current Cybersecurity student at Savannah Technical College and aspiring Cybersecurity professional! I have prior computer hardware experience from dealing with my own PC at home but I am new to Cyber, coding, and IT in general. Although, I am very eager to learn and grow as much as possible! Prior to jumping into Cybersecurity, I worked in the film industry since 2020. I graduated with a technical certificate in film from Savannah Technical College in 2020. I immediately started working as a Production Assistant; then moved to Craft Service, and then Camera Department, where I joined as a IATSE Local 600 Digital Utility. While working in film, I learned many valuable lessons and skills such as people management, teamwork, technical skills regarding cameras, and most importantly, a strong work ethic and resolve. I currently work at Perc Coffee Co. in Savannah, Georgia as a Coffee Production Packer (started 2023) I work at Perc while learning about all things Cyber!
