As the Director of IT /Team Lead I managed the team that manages virtual infrastructure, Summerfest grounds network, SAN and telecom environments. Led the team that designed and maintained the Summerfest Website, e-commerce sites and Application Development.

As the IT Infrastructure Manager, I led the teams that managed Virtual Infrastructure, including VMware, Hyper-V and Citrix XEN hypervisors. Managed and maintained the network infrastructure and SAN environments. Lead the End User Support team which includes all telecom, end-user devices and Helpdesk systems.

As the IT Systems Operations Infrastructure Manager, I led the team that managed and maintained our virtual infrastructure, including Vmware hosts and engineered systems such as Oracle ZFS, ODA, Exadata and Cisco UCS and vBlock platforms. In this role I managed 850+ Servers and 250 Switches and routers that supported network connectivity for the Midwest Region. I provided management of monitoring, patching, change management and support of all servers and network equipment. I managed all budgetary planning, PCI and Sox compliance execution for all IT operations. I also managed teams that architected, implemented and supported VMware and Citrix environments, Regional Data Centers and storage solutions. · Researched, planned, designed and implemented regional Wireless Intrusion Protection Solution that identified rogue wireless networks ensuring security and PCI compliance. Adopted by entire enterprise. · Migrated 24 National offices to Midwest IT network, using Juniper’s Management software (NSM) remotely, resulting in seamless transition with no downtime. Completed ahead of schedule, under budget. · Designed Disaster Recovery plan for SharePoint server to be redundant over 2 data centers using VMware’s Site Recovery Manager and F5 Load Balancers. This increased availability of SharePoint and the process was implemented enterprise wide.

Here, I managed the daily airing of commercials on 800+ channels within the Midwest Region and all computers and servers for region. I managed tasks assigned to IT and Master Control reports and continually researched new technologies and planned implementation of new products including security and LAN / WAN solutions. I worked with vendors to ensure software and hardware requirements were met and assisted direct reports with troubleshooting issues. · Reduced Sarbanes Oxley violations from 19 to 0, in 6 months, by overhauling regional systems and processes. Recognized for being 1st region to fully comply with federal regulations. · Allowed higher service levels while reducing equipment and service costs by planning and implementing an active directory, re-IPED all computers which resulted in consolidation of all domains and created redundancy safeguards.

As a Network Engineer, I designed, implemented and supported customer solutions utilizing Microsoft and Novell Servers with key business applications including Citrix, Microsoft and Novel products and other major applications. I also planned and performed Operating Systems installations and worked with backup solutions, Cisco Routers, HP Hubs and Switches, and NetScreen Firewalls, client and server troubleshooting and maintaining networks for companies ranging between 10 and 400 users.
