I developed, on behalf of the UK government, a ubiquitous computing research collaboration programme between India and the UK, a UK-Taiwan collaboration in DiTV, and a collaborative technology research programme with Japan. I was Director of three international conferences in the Appliance Design series of events, the BCS Computers and People’97 international conference and an ACM UbiComp’00 international conference.
