Project geologist for the Peace River Heavy Oil region, responsible for the succesful development and execution of drilling and evaluation activites of the Lower Cretaceous, Permian and Mississippian reservoirs in the area. Provided geological oversight and drilling operations management in the heavy oil reservoirs in North Western Alberta. Created development plans and inventory with a special emphasis on cold heavy oil production in heterogeneous sandstone reservoirs.Utilizing a robust geotechnical workflow, evaluated future growth opportunites in the Peace River region, with an emphasis on stable production growth.Oversaw advanced geochemical and special core analysis projects for the heavy oil evaluation in Peace River. Responsible for creating detailed geotechnical work in the Pembina Cardium Field in order to generate multi-year drilling inventory with integrated EOR and facilities plans.Worked on highly detailed reservoir characterization, integrating geotechnical knowledge between different technical teams (reservoir engineering, exploitation engineering, geomodeling etc.) to best create a full field development plan. Planned well targets and frac intervals and oversaw drilling of 27 horizontal wells within the Cardium. Worked with completions engineering to optimize individual wells for completions operations.Worked in production optimization (by-pass pay, re-stimulation of producing zones etc.) of various properties as well as developing properties in both the Banff and Lower Mannville in Central Alberta
