Leading crew of 24 Union field technicians who engage in both fiber and copper installation and maintenance, provisioning, dispatch, and testing activities at the customer’s site or a company location. Managing AT&T’s Western Suburbs Fiber installation for small businesses and resident multi-dwelling units. Responsible for controlling/reducing cost for Fiber Optic buildouts. Implemented and managed District Training Lab for all Field Managers and their Technicians. Over 2400 field employees were trained on Corporate Environmental Health & Safety practices, fiber fusion splicing, and effectively utilizing copper testing meters. Reviewing technician’s performance, provided feedback and coached technicians on performance issues. Conducting safety and quality inspections to ensure high quality and safe performance standards of all technicians. Identifying and removing roadblocks for safety and efficient performance of technicians. Working with District Load Balance Manager to ensure that work is effectively assign and customer commitments are met. Administering discipline of technicians who do not demonstrate proper safety, customer service and/or process behaviors. Addressing and resolve customer service complaints and service issues. Handling technician grievances with local Union. Acting as a Mentor for technicians who stressed opportunities for Management.Experience with Microsoft Office Microsoft Outlook, GPS, Cisco WebEx.
