This includes start-ups, SMEs, multinational, ASX-listed, and, high-value privately owned clients; many with complex operations and tax arrangements.Duties include:Attendance at client scoping and follow-up meetings, and, AusIndustry/ATO consultative meetings where required;Conducting interviews with management, technical, and, finance/accounting personnel;Collating support documentation and drafting R&D project descriptions for submission to the relevant government department;Calculating R&D project costs in-line with relevant legislative guidelines;Drafting responses to AusIndustry and the ATO where requests for information are recieved;Providing clients with best practice governance practices to ensure successful claims;Giving advice on the structuring of R&D activities so clients can maximise consumable expenditure. This requires gaining a significantly deep understanding of a business, their activities, and financial/tax position, so that it can be reported accurately and concisely, in-line with HMRC's requirements;Production of cost summaries, ready for CT600 modification, or creation (depending on client position).
