I am in my fourth year at North Carolina State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. I am also minoring in Business Administration. At North Carolina State, I have been able to sharpen my skills through the courses I have taken and the internships I have been on. I am passionate, driven, and dedicated to reach my goal of owning my own golf shop at a private facility. I have been on 2 PGA accredited internships. My PGA Level One internship was at Sand Valley Golf Resort in Nekoosa, WI where I was able to learn under Derek Guzman and Clark Willard. At Sand Valley I developed interpersonal skills, customer relation skills, and team management skills. This internship allowed me to see the golf industry through the customer's perspective. My PGA Level Two internship was at Loblolly in Hobe Sound, FL. At Loblolly, I was able to learn under Mike Schuette and develop greater knowledge of the business side golf industry. I experienced merchandising, teacher, tournament operations, and much more. North Carolina State University and these internships provided me the opportunity to understand what I want to do and what it takes to get there. I know through hard work and dedication I will become the best golf professional I can be.
