Farming is in our blood. Our team includes third, fourth and fifth-generation farmers. Our founder Will Terry’s family has been working the land off California’s Central Coast for over 125 years. Before launching Farming First, Will and Stephen began by cultivating high-CBD cannabis (hemp) using the Terry family’s expertise from large-scale farming of peppers, strawberries and leafy green vegetables.As our team grew, it didn’t take long to realize we were on to something big. The ideal conditions that growers, scientists and engineers work to replicate in grow houses happen naturally here in Central California. We have a near year-round growing window – at a fraction of the cost and environmental impact. We know how lucky we are. That’s where the “responsibility” part comes in. I am a part of the audit and assurance team for the Century City office. I help provide a wide range of services including audits, reviews, compilations, and tax preparation. My client base is also quite diverse, consisting of private companies, employee benefit plans, non-profits,and state/local governments based out of California, and Cannabis Companies across the US.

During tax season I was also given the opportunity to assist the Tax Department with individual and corporate tax returns.

Being new to the industry, I have gained a lot of valuable experience and knowledge in a very short period, and have once again proven to myself that hard work and diligence always pays off. Responsible for: - The sale of surfboards, wetsuits, and other merchandise and,- Maintenance of the pristine condition of store facilities and products.Have developed strong social and customer service skills through interaction and problem solving situations.

- On-site manager in charge of daily activities for three of the four camps. - Insure the safety of an average of 50 campers and 7 employees. - Gained valuable experience in organizing/planning work sites and customer relations.

- Pursue marketing opportunities with assigned accounts from Orange County to Santa Barbara County- Develop/Brainstorm new marketing strategies directed at creating an enhanced brand image for specific target markets. - Improve in-store presentation, inventory, and awareness while educating sales personnel.
