I have been working as Finance Director at Danish Shipping since 2010. I am a part of the executive management with responsibility for the finance department and support and service functions. I participate in strategic planning as well as communicating with some of our external relations and business partners. Furthermore I am responsible for managing special Danish collective schemes such as the "employers system for holiday payment"​ and "national equalization of maternity payment". I am entrusted with assignments such as manager of Compensation Office for Danish Shipping and 3 foundations.My primary responsibilities are besides managing the finance and accounting department (for about 15 different business units – from non profit associations and foundations to companies – and financial reporting to several CEOs, chairmen and board of director in general) managing support and service functions (includes IT and HR). In total I am responsible for about 15 employees.Besides business controlling and managing smaller departments my primarily professional experiences are human resources, investments in bonds, property management, VAT legislations (DK/EU), tax legislation (DK) and implementing new organization, new ERP systems, new strategies and initiate efficiency initiatives and cost reduction in general.From my previously positions I have professional experiences within auditing and education.
